Well, what a fantastic first month in our new shop. I’ve been overwhelmed by the support of the local community in Market Harborough, and the generosity of the shops on our beautiful little stretch of high street.
I’m busier in the workshop than ever, but I’ve still made time to make up stock for the window. Below are a few examples of both stock and commissions completed this year.
This is my first piece made from fair trade gold and is an engagement ring and weding ring set. Market Harborough is a fair trade town so it’s fitting I should make a few more items this way.
I purchased some new gemstones from our family owned supplier and made this beautiful sapphire and diamond halo in platinum. Modern and traditional.
I’ve never stocked emeralds before but couldn’t resist this one. Set in platinum and 18ct yellow gold, this is now sold, but others are available in various shapes and sizes from our merchant to view.
This little commission started out as a 22ct wedding ring. It was far too small and wide and the customer wanted to create something new without losing the hallmark and engraving, so I sized it up, cut off the edges, melted the excess down to make a setting and supplied a half carat emerald to create something wearable everyday.
One of three hearts with diamond for the window, available in rose, yellow and white gold, these have a hidden detail that keeps the heart in the same place facing forward while still running freely on the chain.
